Robotics in Live Performance
Led by Michael Wheeler with Shaza Kaoud
Phd Candidate Shaza Kaoud will introduce participants to some of the basics to working with robotics and introduce some of the interfaces to interact with them. In teams, participants will be assisted to work with basic code to program some functions.
In the second half, participants will work with the robots they have programmed and others that can be controlled manually, to create a simple choreography.
This workshop seeks to provide answers to the questions, “What can robots do these days?” and “What are robots like in live performance?”
