About Windrush:

In Windrush, we journey through the intertwined lives of three generations, navigating the complexities of identity, belonging, and legacy. Set against the backdrop of the Windrush era, the story unfolds in Jamaica to England and ends up in Canada, capturing the vibrant and tumultuous experiences of those who moved in search of better opportunities. Through poignant monologues, rich cultural references, and the haunting presence of ancestral spirits, Windrush delves into themes of family, loss, resilience, and the enduring quest for home. This powerful narrative is a celebration of heritage and a reflection on the sacrifices made by those who paved the way for future generations. The show promises a mixed media experience, utilizing binaural sound, projections, and other immersive methods of art making to fully envelop the audience in its world.
